Ductless Aerothermal Mini-Split Systems

Like conventional HVAC systems, the compressor and condenser is located outside the house, but eliminates the need for a basement- or attic-located evaporator unit and bulky ductwork by using thin copper tubing that pumps refrigerant directly to discreet wall mounted blowers inside. Even more remarkable, this same unit works in reverse in winter, absorbing heat from the outside air and moving it indoors to heat your home.  The result? Efficient cooling and heating for year-round, whole-house comfort in most climates.

Advantages

  •  Zoning to heat and cool individual spaces
Upto 4 zones connected to one outdoor unit.  The number of indoor air handlers required depends on how much heating or cooling is required.  Individual zoning capability, each with its own thermostat, saves energy and money.
  • Easy installation
Ducless mini-split systems are easier and less cumbersome to install than other types of space conditioning systems.  No ductwork required.
  • Energy Efficient
Since mimi splits have little to no ducting, they forego those energy losses typically associated with central forced-air systems.  Duct losses can easily account for more than 30% of energy consumption, especially if the ducts are not sealed tight or in an unconditioned space such as an attic or crawlspace.  With ratings as high as 26 SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio), they are amoung the highest rated efficiency equipment available anywhere.
  • Constant Comfort
Effectively maintain desired comfort levels in your home while saving considerably on your monthly energy bill, whether it's gas, oil, or electric resistant heat.  They maintain a more consistent comfort level in your home because they cycle less frequently than conventional heating systems, adjusting their outputs constantly to maintain set point temperature.  Since they provide both heating and cooling, year round comfort is achieved in nearly all climates, without backup, when properly sized.
  • Aesthetically pleasing and quiet
As compared to other systems, mini splits offer more flexibility in interior design options.  Ductless heat pumps allow for a peaceful inside envioronment by enabling the contractor to install components like compressors and motors outdoors.
